Replacement of Catalytic Converters and Diesel Particulate Filters
The Motor Vehicles Regulations 2009 (SI 2009 No. 1899) and the Motor Cycle Regulations 2009 (SI 2009 No.1896) came into effect on 13th August 2009. The Motor Vehicles Legislation controls the sale and installation of replacement catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters for cars and light vans. The Motor Cycles Regulations control the sale and installation of replacement catalytic converters for two and three wheeled vehicles.
