Pre-requisites:Candidates require a basic knowledge of mainstream environmental issues (e.g. global warming and why we should reduce energy use, general waste issues, such as recycling schemes etc.). Candidates should have access to and have read the ISO 14001:2004 standard prior to the course. It is beneficial (certainly essential for the workshops) if candidates have practical exercises to work on in their workplace after the training to consolidate their understanding. Materials and recognition:A comprehensive set of learning materials will be supplied to support the course, which are also designed to act as a valuable data resource going forward.
