This course provides an overview of the standard, how the clauses may be interpreted and what compliance will mean to you and your business.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand the purpose of the standard, with an overview of the clauses and the requirements for implementation.
- Understand the requirement for 'legal compliance' and how this can be achieved.
- Understand the requirement for 'compliance reviews'.
- Understand the meaning of 'continual improvement' and 'pollution prevention' with regard to operational control.
- Understand the benefit of internal audit.
