You will learn:

This course is designed to enable quality practitioners to perform an internal audit on an ISO 9001:2008 system in accordance with the requirements of the standard. Candidates will learn how to prepare and plan for an audit, raise non-conformities and identify effective corrective actions.

Learning outcomes:

• Understand how to plan internal audits and how to interact with audit teams to achieve effective outcomes.
• Understand the structure of the standard and its requirements (covered in more detail in the Implementation Course).
• Understand what objective, impartial evidence is and how to collect and record it.
• Understand how to write a factual and effective audit report, and summarise daily sessions.
• Understand how to raise NC's and expectations for closure.

Delivery options:

The course can be treated as a stand-alone, or combined with the one-day ISO 9001 awareness course. VCA is more than happy to talk to you about bespoke or internal training, but this can be dependant upon your certification status. Please feel free to contact us to discuss this further.

Pre-requisites:

Candidates require a working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 or should have attended the ISO 9001:2008 implementation course.
