If you are a vehicle or vehicle component manufacturer wishing to export your goods into the United States, then VCA North America can help. We can assist your company to identify, understand and comply with the relevant North American vehicle regulations that apply to your products, including FMVSS, CMVSS, EPA & CARB requirements.

You may also be aware that foreign motor vehicle equipment manufacturers (equipment covered by FMVSS) must designate an "Agent for Service of Process" before offering products for importation in the USA. The designated agent will obtain an Identifier Number from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and must themselves be registered with NHTSA.

VCA North America offers this service that includes keeping your company up to date with NHTSA communications, bulletins, standards' updates and notices that are relevant to your products.
